What is artistic swimming?
Artistic Swimming formally known as Synchronized Swimming is an Olympic sport that combines music, gymnastics, and swimming. Together in teams, duets, or solos, athletes perform choreographed routines set to music that demonstrate their strength, flexibility, endurance, and synchronization.

Why artistic swimming with the synatics?
The Stratchona Synatics have been offering artistic swimming programs in Sherwood Park for over 30 years. Our alumni say being part of the Synatics is like being part of a welcoming family. The Strathcona Synatics is an inclusive club that works to create opportunities for every swimmer wanting to participate. We value achievement, but place a far greater emphasis on the lifelong benefits of teamwork, enjoyment of the sport, and having an enduring and positive impact on our athletes, coaches, families and community.
