Recreational Masters
Excitingly, Strathcona Masters will be coming back under the Synatics umbrella for the 2025-26 season!
Recreational Masters is fun, friendly programming offered to swimmers aged 18-70+ who want to try something new or to continue in the sport! No experience is required.
Fall, Winter & Spring sessions are offered on Sundays or full season training on Thursdays.
CLUB PROGRAM FEES* & TRAINING DATES:
Sessional training — Sundays 830am-10am at Millennium Place pool
These 6-10 week morning sessions are best for those new to the sport or early in their artistic swimming experience - although all skill levels are welcome. The focus of Sunday sessional training is to learn artistic swimming basics, skill development, and to learn a short routine.
Fall session (10 weeks): Fee = $200; Training = Oct 5 – Dec 14, 2025 (omit day Oct 12)
Winter session (9 weeks): Fee = $180; Training = Jan 4 – Mar 8, 2026 (omit day Feb 15)
Spring Session (6 weeks): Fee = $120; Training = Mar 22 - May 3, 2026 (omit day Apr 5)
Full season training (Oct - May) — Thursdays 815pm-930pm at Millennium Place pool
The full season evening training is best for experienced artistic swimmers. The focus of Thursday training is to maintain skill through the creation of a full routine.
Full season fee = $560 (various payment options available); Training = Oct 2 – May 7, 2026 (omit days Dec 25, Jan 1, Mar 26; Nov 13 earlier practice 7-830pm)
Full season swimmers who wish to train both Thursday & Sundays are asked to contact pastpresident@synatics.ca for details on combination fees.
*Club Program Fees do not include training swimsuit, cap/nose clip, optional performance wardrobe, or optional club attire. Fundraising is optional to help cover program fees (more info may be provided to those interested).
**Recreational Masters swimmers are invited to perform at the club’s Year-End Water Show in early May 2026. There may be another optional mini performance on Dec 11, 2025 (TBC).

Alberta Artistic Swimming & Canada Artistic Swimming Membership Fees
AAS/CAS fees = $36.50/yr + admin fee. Paid directly to AAS via RAMP InterActive. Choose “Alberta Artistic Swimming 2025-2026” season and “Masters Recreational” division.
Competitive Masters
Strathcona Synatics offers competitive Masters programming. Self-coached and coached options are available (pending coach availability).
Training options and program fees* will be unique to the needs of each swimmer. Factors will include, for example: if swimming solo, duet, or team; how often coach-directed training is needed; number of training days per week; etc.
Training times available include:
Sundays @ 830am-10am at Millennium Place
Thursdays @ 815pm-930pm at Millennium Place
