  • Morgan S

    Head Coach

    Morgan has been coaching since 2014 and swimming since 2006. She swam competitively for 16 years as either a youth, University Student or Master. This is Morgan’s 4th season as the Head Coach of the club. She’s currently a Competition Development certified coach with plans to continue her coach education. As a coach, she loves working with a wide variety of athletes, their goals, understanding each unique personality, and learning how to coach each athlete to the best of her ability. Outside of the pool, she is a health policy advisor with the Government of Alberta. She has a MSc in health & international development. She lived abroad in London for a year, and still loves to travel whenever she can!

  • Jen B

    Interim Head Coach/ Competitive & Rec Masters Coach

    Jen’s artistic swimming experience is extensive – as an athlete, coach, and previous head coach. Her love for the Synatics Club spans over 30 years & counting! Her kindness & fairness as mentor to all athletes and other coaches is immeasurable. When not at the pool, Jen can be found working as Veterinary Medical Assistant.

  • Christine K

    Recreational Coordinator/ Competitive Coach

    Christine has been coaching since 2017. She started as an artistic swimmer herself in 2010 after finishing all her swimming lessons! Christine loves sharing her passion and love of the sport. Her goal as a coach is for everyone to enjoy their time in the water and become lifelong swimmers. Outside of the pool, Christine enjoys movies, food, music, and being an Oilers fan!

  • Isabel H

    Competitive Coach

    Isabel is starting her 4th year of coaching. She has been swimming for 10 years. Isabel’s favourite part of coaching is when she sees an athlete figure out a new skill they have been trying so hard to get, it reminds her of when she first started to swim, and makes her so proud of them!

  • Ava F

    Competitive Coach

    Ava is starting her 4th year of coaching and 7th year of swimming. Coming from a gymnastics background, Ava joined artistic swimming through a friend’s recommendation. She quickly fell in love with the challenges of the sport and its community! As a coach, she encourages swimmers to work hard to create something beautiful. “The best practices are the ones where I get to celebrate my athletes and see the smiles on their faces when something finally clicks or they watch a video and feel proud of their performance.” Outside of the pool, Ava is a university student who enjoys playing video games and doing crafts.

  • Claire N

    Competitive Coach

    This is Claire’s fourth year coaching and her eighth year of swimming. Claire’s favourite part about coaching is seeing athletes feel proud of themselves for achieving one of their goals - be it big or small! This season, she is looking forward to challenging her athletes, helping them grow into new age groups, and watching them achieve their goals. Outside of the pool, Claire is a university student who enjoys hanging out with her family and pets

  • Rylee P

    Competitive Coach

    This will be Rylee’s fourth year as a coach and they’ve swam for 11 years. Rylee’s favorite part of coaching is watching the swimmers improve, helping them learn new things, and bettering themselves as athletes and people!

  • Kida G

    Competitive Coach

    Kida is going into her 2nd year of coaching, her first as a competitive coach. She has been swimming for 8 years. Her favourite part of coaching is seeing swimmers enjoy the sport and improve their skills! Outside of the pool, Kida enjoys paddle boarding and reading.

  • Natalie G

    Competitive Coach

    Natalie is starting her second year of coaching. This season, Natalie will be coaching both competitive and recreational athletes.

  • Brenda J

    Recreational Adult/Masters Coach

    Brenda is coaching our Sunday Adult Rec classes this season. She has been swimming since age 8 and started Masters artistic swimming in 2004. Through her love of the sport and wanting to expand her experience, she began coaching in 2017. She loves to introduce the sport to new swimmers, regardless of age! Outside of the pool, you can find Brenda enjoying her retirement, cycling, lap swimming, playing pickleball, and quilting!

  • Melina M

    Recreational Coach

    Melina is starting her first year of coaching and her 6th year of swimming. Melina is looking forward to getting know new swimmers and helping them find the love of the sport. Melina’s hobbies outside of the pool include baking and cooking.

  • Lauren M

    Recreational Coach

    This is Lauren’s first year of coaching and her 6th year of swimming. Lauren is looking forward to sharing her love of the sport with younger swimmers. Outside of the pool, Lauren is in high school and enjoys hanging out with friends.
