Pre Competitive program (Jan-May)
Sundays 4:15 PM -6:30PM at Millennium Place.
Practice dates: Jan 5, 2025 - mid May 2025
For swimmers born 2012-2017 who have taken at least one Intro, Advanced Intro session, or other recreational artistic swimming program.
Swimmers continue to learn the basics of artistic swimming & a choreographed routine. Swimmers have performance opportunities but do not attend competitions.
*Swimmers with no artistic swimming experience but with a strong swim background (e.g. competitive swimming, water polo, or those working on Rookie/Ranger/Star Patrol certification) should contact the club to discuss if this program is a fit for them.
AAS fees: Swimmers must annually register with Alberta Artistic Swimming & Canada Artistic Swimming. 2024-25 season membership (valid Sept 1, 2024 - Aug 31, 2025) = $36/year+admin fee.
If not already purchased for 2024-25 season, please purchase directly from AAS via RAMP Interactive. Choose “Recreational Swimmer” division membership.
2024/25 Club fees: $500. Initial $100 online registration + various payment options available (see below).
*Club fees do not include $125 pre-competitive fundraising commitment or travel costs to the “Spring Splash” Recreational Event in Red Deer (May 3, 2025).

Initial $100 online registration fee +e-transfer payments of:
Option A: $80 payment by Jan 1st, and $80 monthly payments X 4 (Feb 1st, Mar 1st, Apr 1st & May 1st).
Option B: $80 payment by Jan 1st, and $160 payments X 2 (by Feb 1st and by Apr 1st).
Option C: $80 payment by Jan 1st, and $320 payments X 1 (by Feb 1st).

*Online registration fee is non-refundable.

Fundraising commitment: $125
Each pre-competitive swimmer is required to raise a minimum of $125 via fundraising to cover costs for their performance swimsuit, a coloured team swim cap, and registration for the Alberta Spring Recreational Event Day (“Spring Splash” in Red Deer on May 3, 2025). Various fundraising options will be available; option for additional fundraising to go towards their individual Synatics account balance may be available.
