Pre Competitive program
Sundays 1PM to 3:30 PM at Emerald Hills
Practice dates: Sept 17, 2023 - mid May 2024
For swimmers 7-12 to learn the basics of artistic swimming & a choreographed routine. Swimmers have performance opportunities but do not attend competitions.
AAS fees: Swimmers must annually register with Alberta Artistic Swimming. 2023-24 season = $32.05+GST (Paid directly to AAS.) Register as a “Recreational Athlete” & “other”.
2023/24 Club fees: $900/year. Initial $100 online registration + various payment options available (see below).
*Club fees do not include fundraising commitment or travel costs.
Swimmers should be comfortable swimming in deep water. If not, please inform the coach prior to start of 1st class so accommodations may be considered (e.g. life jacket).

Initial $100 online registration fee + e-transfer payments of:
Option A: $80 payment by Sept 1st, and $90 monthly payments X 8 (Oct 1st through to May 1st).
Option B: $80 payment by Sept 1st, and $360 payments X 2 (by Oct 1st and by Jan 1st).
Option C: $80 payment by Sept 1st, and $720 payments X 1 (by Oct 1st).

Swim-the-Dream: $100
Swim-the-Dream is an annual swim-a-thon style, mandatory Club fundraiser for both pre-competitive and competitive Synatics athletes.
Each pre-competitive swimmer is required to raise a minimum of $100 for this fundraiser to cover costs for their performance swimsuit, a coloured team swim cap, and registration for the Alberta Spring Recreational Event Day. Pledges an athlete raises over $100 will go towards their individual Synatics account balance.
